Things I'll live down...

Yesterday I got a call from school nurse that S threw up his lunch and that he said that he is not feeling well, and that I should come and pick him up (sorry for run on sentence:-). So I go over there and I'm signing him out and he comes to me all smiles and happiness. I asked him what is wrong with him, and he just gave me a stare like I've grown a horn or my ears are green or something.

So we go home, and I let him watch tv before he does his homework just to rest a little. I come upstairs to get dirty laundry. So maybe it took me 5 min total of coming up and getting laundry, and I go downstairs and there is a stark naked woman on my TV shaving her legs. Sure enough S is frantically trying to change a channel, but it is not working. I ask him what he did, and all this while flying after remote. I didn't know weather I should turn off tv or cover my kids eyes first. So, I figured that he ordered the Stripping Sorrority Sisters from On Demand. I didn't even know they had that stuff on demand. It cost over $8! So, I manage to delete the program, and my boy is hiding behind the couch.

So then I call my darling groom who told me to call cable company, who were so nice to remove the thing off my bill and who guided me through parental controls, so that I can make sure this doesn't happen again. Apparently once you are in upper channels on demand they have whole bunch of "adult" stuff. So conveniently, all S's shows are in the same range of numbers. That was way more than any one of us needed to see.

Ha, ha. We had that happen twice. Once in NY it was an adult show that we got billed and when my poor MIL called to say hey whats up they said well it wasn't watched so we'll credit your account.

Then if you may remember Parker ordered a $45 wrestling smack down on our tv and again no one watched it so they credited us the amount he also walked us thru the parental guides! I tell ya who knew our kids had such expensive yet poor taste in shows:).
